If you are interested in acquiring experience in the publishing sector, we offer opportunities to join our team on a temporary or a permanent basis. As we are a nonprofit organisation, this would be a voluntary, unpaid role.
POETRY ASSOCIATE EDITOR POSITION
We are currently hiring for a permanent Associate Editor role. This position requires individuals with strong editing, organisational and team working skills. Backgrounds in English Literature are preferred but not essential. The role would involve working alongside primary editors across all categories but mostly in the poetry department. We are looking for someone with a passion for poetry who will be able to bring their enthusiasm and creativity into curating a memorable list of poetic works to publish each season.
MARKETING EXECUTIVE POSITION
After two years of operation, we are now searching for someone with specialist marketing knowledge and experience to enable us to expand further and increase both our paperback and digital sales. This role would require you to work closely with the management team, Amber and Linda to make informative decisions about our nonprofit unincorporated organisation. We are looking for a creative, reliable and self-motivated individual with a demonstrable background in marketing.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR
Spellbinder is active on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and Goodreads. We require a new Social Media Content Creator with the expertise to plan, schedule, write, design and post regular updates on our platforms. In this role, you would receive extensive training from Linda, the former Social Media Content Creator. This role would involve collaborating frequently with the Marketing Executive. We are looking for a creative, reliable and organised individual with proven technological skills and a good eye for detail.

Interviews will be set up for the first week after that date. Our reading and editing period for our Summer 2023 Issue takes place between the 14th of May and the 1st of July so we are looking for someone who is available to start working on the 14th of May. During this season, you will be supported and trained by the current team. If this trial period goes well, you will take on your official title in time for the Autumn 2023 Issue.
