Work With Us

If you are interested in acquiring experience in the publishing sector, we offer opportunities to join our team on a temporary or a permanent basis. As we are a nonprofit organisation, this would be a voluntary, unpaid role.

Guest Editor Position – temporary

If you are interested in finding out more about editing, marketing and design, we offer the chance to become a guest editor for Spellbinder. This will involve committing to assist us with editorial, illustrative and/ or operational tasks during one of our six week periods between closing the submission window for the following issue and publication of the print issue. You would be recognised as a temporary guest editor within the magazine paperback and PDF. We already have one brilliant permanent guest editor who you can find out more about on our staff page.

If you are particularly enthusiastic about our enterprise, we are also hiring for more permanent positions as detailed below. These would involve a much greater commitment and you would need to complete a trial period. Following this, you would be required to sign our constitution and operational policies document prior to starting your permanent role.

Podcast Coordinator Position – permanent following trial period

We are especially interested in hiring people with a background in podcast and/or news channel episode production, because we are hoping to add these sections to our Creative Conversations platform at some point in the near future. Creative Conversations is the interactive zone on our website which already features a successful blog. We require someone with the expertise to plan, host and record podcasts and news channel episodes. This role would also involve liaising with both external and internal stakeholders who will feature in these recorded audios and videos. We do not have an exact time frame in mind for this so we can be more flexible with your start date.

Please contact spellbinder.contact@gmail.com for further information and/or to express interest in any of these positions.
