Philippa Bowers is a reviewer and aspiring writer from the Welsh border with a degree in English Literature. She has always had an interest in the opportunities that journals grant people in starting their careers. She is an avid reader with interests with a variety of literature, from work by Kazuo Ishiguro to that by Jeff Vandermeer. While she cannot decide upon her favourite genre, she can confirm that she enjoys anything that is surreal and philosophical, or an intimate discussion of the human identity.
Apart from literature, she enjoys the outdoors and extreme sports such as climbing. When she is not reading a book, writing, or creating art, you will find her at the local climbing wall.
