2025 Art Competition – Beauty in the Mundane

During May 2025, we invited Spellbinder’s Instagram followers to enter a visual art competition themed around Beauty in the Mundane. This was both our second ever visual art competition.

We received many lovely submissions and our judges, Yuyi and Emmett, chose two winners. Keep reading to check out the winning pieces (in no particular order)!

Kinga

Mirror Rabbit Hole

Kinga (she/her) is a polish artist currently residing in the Netherlands. Her practice consists mostly of graphic design with a touch of illustration, film making and of course, photography. In her work, she usually concentrates on the beauty of the mundane and imperfections that make art more human. As a future designer, Kinga’s ambition is to combine her interest in various forms of artistic expression with a touch of irony and playfulness. Find her on Instagram @king.with.an_a.

Rebecca Robinson

Eden

Rebecca Robinson is a multimedia artist and writer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Both winners had a choice between a print copy of a recent Spellbinder issue or a free monthly subscription to our website for two months. We look forward to hosting more competitions in the future!
