Steph Carroll is a bookseller and budding writer hailing from just outside of
Manchester, UK. She studied Creative Writing at the University of Lincoln
where she discovered a real passion for the editorial side of publishing. If
she isn’t reading or writing, you will either find her watching football, or
hanging out with her Sproodle, Tilly.
For over two years, Steph wrote for The Publishing Post on the Anticipated
Reads Team. She adored getting to help promote wonderful new releases,
especially from her favourite authors.
Outside of work, Steph runs two bookstagrams. @bookreviews_bysteph is
her personal page where she shares reviews on a variety of books and
happily shares as many recommendations as she can.
@thebookishbesties.booknook is a page she runs alongside two of her
friends, its purpose being to create a safe and fun space where book lovers
can build meaningful connections through a shared love of books, with an
end goal of helping to combat loneliness through the joy of reading.
Whilst she is a primarily a romance reader, you will often find her indulging
in an Agatha Christie mystery from time to time, or diving into a twisty
thriller. You may even catch her dabbling in the romantasy genre too.
