Madison Walker recently graduated from King’s College London with a BA in English Literature and Language. Throughout her degree she established an interest in women’s literature and particularly admires work that explores themes of intersectionality. Her favourite authors include Gwendolyn Brooks, Toni Morrison and Monica Youn. After university she began a ‘bookstagram’ account where she posts thoughts and reviews on her recent reads. Alongside this she runs a substack account where she publishes essays on books and movies she’s passionate about. In her free time she volunteers with a literary organisation that helps children struggling with literacy to build confidence and perseverance around reading. When she’s not absorbed in a book, she loves all things creative – whether it’s pottery painting with family and friends, or sketching in her journal.
